By accessing or using www.thescienceedu.com(the “Website”) — including by browsing pages, submitting an enquiry, taking a mock test or signing in to an account — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website.
2. Who can use the Website
The Website is intended for use by students preparing for JEE, NEET, WBJEE and Class IX–XII Board examinations, and by their parents/guardians. If you are below 18 years of age, please use the Website only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian.
3. Enquiries and mock tests
- Enquiries you submit through the contact form or the mock-test gate are used to contact you about admissions, batches and follow-ups.
- Free public mock tests are provided for self-assessment. Scores and answer keys are shown immediately on submission. We do not guarantee that any particular mock reflects your performance in the actual board or entrance exam.
- You may take a mock test more than once. Your best score is retained on your account, if you have one.
4. Student and admin accounts
- Student accounts are created by our staff when you join one of our coaching programmes. They are intended for the named student only and may not be shared.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity that happens under your account. Please notify us at info@thescienceedu.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your consent.
- Admin accounts are issued by the institute's administrators for staff use only. Admin actions are logged for audit and accountability.
- We may suspend or terminate any account that is being used in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, our database, other users' accounts or any of our internal systems.
- Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that infringes another person's rights.
- Use the Website to send spam, run automated scrapers, or interfere with normal operation (for example, by overloading the servers).
- Reproduce, copy or republish substantial portions of our course material, mock tests, answer keys or articles without our prior written permission.
- Use the Website to advertise or solicit other coaching institutes, products or services.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Website — including text, illustrations, mock test questions, answer keys, course outlines, branding, and the site design — is owned by The Science Edu or licensed to us, and is protected by Indian and international copyright law. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to view this content on the Website. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
7. Fees and refunds
The Website itself is free to use, including the public mock tests. Fees for our coaching programmes are quoted separately at the time of admission and are governed by the terms in the admission form / receipt you sign at the branch. Refunds, where applicable, follow the policy stated on the admission form.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranty that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of viruses, or that any score, ranking or admission outcome will result from using it. Results displayed on our results page are historical achievements of specific students and are not a guarantee of similar results for any other student.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, opportunity or goodwill, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Website. Our total liability in any matter relating to the Website is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party websites (for example, YouTube videos or social-media profiles). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.
11. Changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Website after a change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
